Every NZ-Safety instructor brings real-world experience to the classroom and range. Our team includes backgrounds in law enforcement, military service, and competitive shooting — combined with a genuine passion for teaching. We believe the best instructors aren’t just skilled shooters; they’re patient educators who know how to meet each student where they are.

Credentials
QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS
NRA CERTIFIED
All instructors hold current NRA certifications in pistol instruction. Our courses meet or exceed national training standards set by the NRA and NYS.
NYS APPROVED
Our instructors and curricula are approved by New York State to teach the mandatory 18-hour handgun safety course required for pistol permit applications.
UTAH BCI CERTIFIED
Certified by the Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification to teach the Utah Concealed Firearm Permit (CFP) course — recognized in up to 34 states.
