NYS 18-HOUR HANDGUN SAFETY COURSE
The comprehensive New York State-mandated handgun safety course: 16 hours of classroom instruction plus 2 hours of live-fire range qualification. Everything you need to satisfy the NYS training requirement for your handgun permit application.

- Safe storage requirements and child access prevention
- Handgun operation, loading, and unloading
- Firearm safety rules and handling procedures
- NYS laws on carry and transport of firearms

COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS
